The 2016 CCHL Draft Lottery has been conducted by League Co-founder and co-commissioner Paul Canosa, who also serves as the General manager of the Victoria Ronin.
The draft lottery is vitally important to teams who have had rough seasons and are looking to add high end youth and skill to their system, with the hope that someday these young kids will develop into a bonafide NHL-er and hold some value for the teams in the CCHL.
The bottom six teams in the league, based on total points participated, per the rules.
The teams participating in the CCHL draft lottery for 2016 are:
17th - Boston Banshees
18th - Springfield Homers
19th - Siberia Icecats
20th - Halifax Hammerheads
21st - Portland Owls
22nd - Hamilton Tigers
