Calgary Chinook beat the Falcon in OT 7-6 in a wild game...

CALGARY, September 3rd - Pietrangelo scored his first goal of the season at 3 minutes 38 seconds of overtime as Chinook rallied to beat the Fort Erie Falcons, 7-6, tonight and get their second win in a roll in as many games.
The Falcon, who overcome a 4 goals lead by scoring 4 unanswered goals in the third period (in a span of 10 minutes and 24 seconds) sent the game into overtime on Blake Wheeler’s first goal of the season assisted by ex-Chinook Zach Werenski at 14:25 of the third.
We can’t get complacent especially having four goals in the third period. “said Yip “We almost lost the game. We are lucky to get 2 points out of this game. The Falcons have shown they are for real this season and we need to be ready the next time we face them. “
Pastrnak had a hat trick and an assist, which was the top performer of the night. Backlund also scored in his first game of the season. Backlund replaced Vermette on the 4th line.
