Millers acquire Green, declare themselves "All In"

Millers acquire Green, declare themselves "All In"

Following the acquisition of Defenseman Mike Green from Sudbury, Georgetown management has declared the club is "All In" as far as attempting to secure a playoff spot and go deep into the post-season.

GM Chris Kash made this statement:

"You don't give up a prospect the caliber of Samuel Girard on a whim. We feel Green will be a boon to us at even strength and on special teams, particularly the Power Play. He is a very good skater, excellent passer and accurate shooter from the point. With the addition of Green, Markov, and Simmonds this team has no excuses not to score goals and be much improved with the man advantage."

"Having Filip Hronek in the system made it a little more palatable to give up an exciting prospect like Girard. Their skill sets and the concerns about their size are similar. As things stand I do not foresee any additional moves being made for this team for a while. We're going to give them time to gel and see where we are in a couple of months."
