Chinook Crush Donuts 6-0

WISBORG –  The 4th line works wonder tonight as they were responsible for four of the six goals scored in tonight’s matchup against the Wisborg Donuts.  Backlund, Ferland and Granlund all had a goal and an assist in less than 10 minutes of ice time.  “Sometimes everything just clicks.” Said Ferland.  “Backlund and Granlund were great linemates.”

Letang also had a great game with three assists tonight.  "It's a great feeling," said Letang, who has 8 points in 13 games this season. "It's big for my confidence. We have a great team here and I am glad I can contribute.”

Price made 24 saves for his second shutout of the season.  Price is tied for 1st in save % after this game. "A lot of guys played great hockey out there," Price said. "We got the result we wanted, but we've got a lot of work left to do and it doesn't stop here."

Niederreiter opened the scoring at 2:38 of the first period, the goal will eventually be the game-winning goal.  Niederreiter has 3 game-winning goals tied for 2nd in the league after this game.
"I think we all knew we had some talent in the locker room," said Niederreiter. "Four lines that can play and a veteran D-corp, and obviously one of the best goalies in the league. Sometimes teams don't click right away, but it seems that we're really going right now and I think we're excited about going forward."
